The purpose of DVPN is to:
- Confront and Eliminate violence by supporting domestic violence program
- Educate government officials and the public about domestic violence
- Act in response to incidents of domestic violence
- Monitor the effectiveness of intervention projects, law enforcement and courts in eliminating domestic violence
- Share information, resources and techniques to work more effectively
